My name is Lauren and I would like to share my story with you. I have been out of school for quite some time now, and it has been a long journey. I have dabbled in many careers: I was a waitress, bartender, temp worker, administrative assistant, retail salesperson, baby-sitter, special-needs counselor, flight attendant; all of which took me to many places. I have moved 8 times in 7 years. And somehow I ended up here in Charlottesville, VA, as an administrative assistant/graphic design artist for Roy Wheeler Realty Company. I never would've thought I'd come to a "Southern" state, as I grew up in Massachusetts. I have now been here for two years and have since developed roots-I even bought a house! So with all of the soul-searching that I have done, I now have the drive and motivation, along with the knowledge, of what I want to do. I want to become an accountant. I plan on taking as many classes as I can at PVCC, then moving on to UVA, or another 4-year university. I have grown to love Virginia: the culture, the pace, and the people, and see a very successful and fulfilling life for myself in the future. I hope you find this website interesting-ENJOY!
